What we do
We aim to create tomorrow’s heirlooms today
We hand make beautiful furniture, designed and crafted to last more than a lifetime.
Period Reproductions or Period Originals
Period fittings can be created and copied to blend perfectly with the original setting of your house. Not only does this make your commission fit in with its surroundings, it will look as if it has always been there.
Period colours and French polishes are regularly used to give your piece a shabby chic or an antique finish.
Natural Materials
Wherever possible we like to use solid hardwood. We regularly use planks 3ft wide 4” thick and 8ft long to make our furniture and fittings. We only use man-made materials where it is necessary for dimensional stability. However, we do occasionally use metals, plastics and other materials where it’s felt they could genuinely enhance the piece.
